Rihanna Fan!! Under my umbrella ella ella eh eh

Todayyy I was talking to my friend James Singleton about his favorite type of music and was music acts that he likes and he said I love Rihanna (pop singer).

He went to her gig on sunday the weekend just gone and he took some stunning pictures of Rihanna. James asked me if I wanted some of the pictures for inspiration and the images above are the ones that I wanted. I am attrcted to these images, because again I am an avant garde fan and I would love to buy one of these outfits. When I look at these garments that Rihanna is wearing they totally remind me of Lady Gaga, I mean just look at the avant garde detail!!
Okaii to be honest I wouldn't actually wear them but I would buy them.

The image above is from http://www.needlework-tips-techniques.com/. The stems have been created using a Fly stitch and the flowers have been created using French Knots.
Hello : )
Recently in college I have been creating embroidary samples for some of my pages in my sketch book. I am working on my last project of the year (FMP) and have to transfer my design on to a t-shirt. At the moment I am researching the various methods I could use to do this. I found a book in the library called 'The Art of Embroidary', I found it really useful for finding the different stitches that could possibly be used for my final outcome.
In my next post you will see a photo of two samples I have created using embroidary stitches I have learnt from this book.

I have completed my shirt and I hope you do like it???.....Comment please...
This shirt is going in the end of fashion show. I have completed my shirt and I am so happy with my final garment, I never thought that my shirt end perfectly.
But it is not quite finished yet, beause I am going to accessories it a bit by adding three thin belts to give the shirt more shape and femeninity.

Heyyyy well today I am moving away from the vintage theme and I am going to be showing you what I have been doing in college. For our textiles project, I was given a shirt and I had to choose a theme and I chose sea life. I had to use techniques learnt to adapt the shirt and convey my theme on the shirt. This image is the back of the shirt and the padded shapes have been taken originally from the jelly fish.

This is the orginal jellyfish image I used for my final design.

OKayyyy so I was looking at http://burymeinthisdress.com/ and I came across a avant-garde designer called Sandra Backlund. I really like this image shown, because of the spikey texture to the garment. After researching I found out that Backlund has been inspired by what is called the 'INK BLOT TEST' I researched what an ink blot test is and what it is, is its ink splattered on to a piece of card and shown to the patients to get a response and they record each response and they use this method in hospitals.
